Well done to everyone who turned up and did their bit. On Sunday 25th March 50 members of the Club attend the sponsored Row-a-thon at the Fitness Factory in Newport.

We set out to row 100,000 metres on two Concept II rowing machines in under 6 hours and raise at least £1,000 for Club Funds.

The 100,000 metre mark was reached in 4 hours 55 minutes, with some members rowing for at least 500 metres to others doing over 3,000.

Sponsor money is starting to come in and so far we have reached nearly £2,000 with plenty more still to come in.
