• WE ARE……………….
• The Heart Care Mentors who are Volunteering from the Isle of Wight Heart Care Club working together with the NHS to support cardiac patients  and their carers through encouragement and providing information they may need to help on to a safe and tested path towards recovery and rehabilitation.
• OUR AIM………………
• Is to support those who, through a heart event, may feel anxious and vulnerable. Carers of cardiac patients may also have special needs as they are perhaps suddenly and unexpectedly required to take on a role for which they may feel unprepared.
• Is to promote positive recovery by encouraging clients to adopt a healthy lifestyle and to provide opportunities for social and supervised exercise.
